Oh yeah, AND we got to see the Hunger Games and a book store that was several stories and took up a whole city block!  Excited!!

We spent the morning at one of the parks in Bellingham.  They were having a boat race/demo/sale/swap which was pretty cool to see, and we were able to enjoy the trails and waterfalls.  Heading to Canada this afternoon!!!

 This was a "Living Memorial Museum" we saw a sign for off the highway.  Kind of creepy.

We tried to go see Crater Lake, but things were a little crazy there.

We also passed the Logging Museum, which made Baine one very happy camper.

Davis/San Francisco

Our next stop was Davis, CA to visit one Alexander Combe.  We toured the Food Science labs that he and his amazing gf, Becky, work at, ate a home cooked meal, drove to San Francisco, and volunteered at a Beer Festival there.  We're rolling out of here tomorrow, heading north...
