Oh yeah, AND we got to see the Hunger Games and a book store that was several stories and took up a whole city block!  Excited!!

We spent the morning at one of the parks in Bellingham.  They were having a boat race/demo/sale/swap which was pretty cool to see, and we were able to enjoy the trails and waterfalls.  Heading to Canada this afternoon!!!

 This was a "Living Memorial Museum" we saw a sign for off the highway.  Kind of creepy.

We tried to go see Crater Lake, but things were a little crazy there.

Davis/San Francisco

Our next stop was Davis, CA to visit one Alexander Combe.  We toured the Food Science labs that he and his amazing gf, Becky, work at, ate a home cooked meal, drove to San Francisco, and volunteered at a Beer Festival there.  We're rolling out of here tomorrow, heading north...

Our last days in Bishop were perfect for sending!  There are so many projects we're leaving behind, but it's time to roll on.

Here's a cool trick: Feed ducks while your friend/spouse is napping so that when he wakes up, he can wake up to all of these ducks pecking at him!  It's fun for everyone

We had a GREAT weekend climbing with some old and new friends!  A couple days rest is well deserved and needed.  We're waiting on the weather reports and van maintenance to determine our next steps...

ONE of the rattlesnakes we came across by the crags..   Sucker was huge.

We (Baine, Eric, and myself) talked about going to the hot springs on Monday, but realized as we were sweating over breakfast that a dip in the cold river would be much better for our health--good life decision.
